It is said that Raja Veer Singh was constructing this Babri or Vav for his subjects, as you know that there has always been work in Gujarat, due to which the people had a lot of water problems. This Vava was constructed in such a way that even the water problem is solved and the visiting traders and shepherds can rest in the coolness inside it. But he could not do it.
According to the rock article on its first floor, this Vava was constructed by Rani Rudabai, who was the wife of Raja Veer Singh. This Vava is five storeyed and is octagonal. This Vava is standing on 14 pillars in the ground. The temperature inside it is 7 to 4 degrees lower than outside.
Even today the villagers come here and worship the idols of the Navagraha built on the walls. Kalash and Ganesh are also idols of God on these walls. Who protects this Vava. There is a lot of agitation here during the summer season as the villagers still fill the water here and relax in their rooms i.e. rest house.
According to the villagers of this village, Raja Vir Singh was a victim of Muslim invasion and the hands of Sultan Baghela got Veergati in the war. Rani Rudabai was very beautiful due to which the Sultan sent a proposal to marry her.
The queen acted here with intelligence and diplomacy like Virangana and sent a message to the Sultan's proposal that she can marry only after the king's last wish is fulfilled.
He sent the message that if the Sultan completes the unfinished work of the king i.e. Adalaj Wawari, he is ready for marriage. After this, Sultan Baghela built the Babri in his hand and completed it in due time. Only then the upper part of this Babri is made according to Muslim painting or art. After that the queen came to see Vava as told and the Sultan started preparing for his marriage.
Then the queen leaped from the same wave and embraced her death and left a message for the Sultan that Sultan you are a very good man who did a great job for the benefit of the subjects but was forced, among the Hindus only Only one marriage is allowed, I am and was the devoted wife of Raja Veer Singh with heart and mind. This Vava has a working class of artisans who were killed by the king so that such construction cannot be done again. Even today, this Vav reflects the love of the queen towards the people and shouts how the families of Kshatriyas and kings have let their subjects go in history.
