In this war, Maharana Pratap had 20,000 army in front of 80,000 army of Mughal Sardar Raja Man Singh. But the Rajput army was giving a good competition to the Mughal army. But Rana was surrounded by enemies while doing battle, which Jhala Man Singh saved by sacrificing his life and told him to run away from the battlefield. Maharana Pratap vs Akbar
In 1567, the Mughal ruler Akbar besieged Chittorgarh, but by the time Akbar's forces damaged Uday Singh and his family, they had fled. But 27-year-old Kunwar Pratap wanted to face the enemies, but the family understood him and came to live with him in the foothills of the Aravalli mountain. Where Uday Singh made Temperi the capital to run the rest of Mewar state.

In 1572, Uday Singh went to heaven. Due to which tradition, the next king of Mewar, Praja Kunwar Pratap, should have become the next king. But in honor of his father's wish, he made his younger brother Jagmal the king of Mewar.
Kunwar Pratap's reason for not becoming king was that he loved his younger queen Bhatiyani more before his late father died. The queen wanted her son to be the next king of Mewar and Rana Udai Singh also stamped her wish on this matter.
The rule of Mewar started with the new king of Mewar. But Jagmal was proving incapable of ruling continuously, as he did not listen to his ministers.
